The first thing that strikes me about this image is the twisted connecting arms. Each one looks like hundreds of thin metal wires twisted together, some plain copper and others electric blue, almost like fibre-optics. Secondly, the outer edge of the disk pieces look like smooth copper that have been heated or chemically treated in some way to create a twisted colour change in the metal. Thirdly, in the middle of each disk contains copper sequins. Altogether, the whole image appears to be an intricate sculpture, well put together. Love it.
