Description
And There She Stood
And there she stood
Amassed as she was
Yet still incomplete
Drawn tight as a drum
Skin, white alabaster
A palette left empty
Yet still entire
From walking on glass
To stepping on fire
Her eyes like a window
Her vision inside
Step forward from nothing
With nowhere to hide
So she took upon herself
This day and this night
To stand straight and true
To face up and fight
She drew on her courage
Distant inside
Forged in the vaults
Where vanity hides
Closed eyes falling open
Coalescing the air
Fragmenting around her
Pulled into despair
Fill this void without season
Chamfer the edge of this blade
Sharpen the voice of ill reason
Carry the flag of deception
Stand here and be hollow
Like a decimated tree
And hope others will follow
In your attempt to be free
Your life is the finale
Your death the descent
To hell and beyond
Where your destiny

I will have to read this a few times. Each line has its own image to add to the whole.
