I guess the road just got too close to the monument..I've been there. Actually, what this REALLY remindes me of is the Alamo (it's downtown, and there's skyscrapers all around..;) great work.

I was just thinking of doing a stonehenge. Very well done and a little sad to think that's how it might end up.

Nicely done... I must agree though, it would be quite sad if our present encroaches and overwhelms our past. A bit claustrophobic and hemmed in, but well presented.
