This is a still from an animation
an experimental piece for me..using per pixel camera mapping & projecting painted geometrie back onto itself for re-rendering,something I've never done before but am very pleased with the luxury of not having to uv map a mesh & freedom of painting
I was looking for a washed out feel to this..kind of a throwback to old fifties sci-fi

The ships in the trench are blurred, the bridge across the trench doesn't seem to 'connect' to the sides, and that one tower is too 'out-standing' to have been repeated 7 times. Otherwise, like I said before, an excellent job matte painting. (now that I've googled those phrase, and know what they mean) :)

I've seen the short movie too, it's really beautiful! I guess the traffic results blurred due to motion ;) I really like "painted" style of this (motion)picture. It's a great work indeed!

Definitely an amazing piece of art work! The painting really gives the image and clip a very unique feel. I honestly cant get enough of Sci Fi city spaces and this one is truly up there with the best of them. Amazing work that deserves a huge vote and congratulations! Thanks for the inspiration!!!
