Description
"Once in a lifetime", Harold was told by his grandfather, the Dhagus trees would bear fruit. After so many years of drought and bad luck, he assumed Gramps meant somebody elses lifetime, not Harold's.
It had been awhile since he checked the south 40. When he crested the hill and saw the towering trees, Harold gulped. Dhagus pods were usually about a meter tall. One that size could bring in enough money to feed a family for a year. The one he rode up to was nearly ten times that size and there looked to be several more ready to drop. It was a good year after all.
