Description
My first official render in C4D beyond spheres and cubes with textures. No particular culture represented here - making it up as I go along.
I figured I'd post it here first before I do all that I'm going to do in Photoshop since I'm sure it'll have to go into Mixed Medium.
Going to paint in people - guards along the columns, a big dark figure in the chair at the top of the stairs, maybe more guards on the stairs and flanking the chair, and muss up the textures more to look aged. I'm also thinking of flags and torches on the columns, maybe some hanging lighting (candles) fixtures.
Any thoughts as to what else might be good to throw in there?

Really cool lighting. I would have the dark figure at the top watching as his 'bodyguard' engages an intruder in combat at the bottom (but that's just me LOL!)Off to a great start with this image, will be interesting to see the final piece.

Great image - really like the lighting, angle and overall concept. Many ancient cultures to come to mind. Maybe wall torches instead of hanging candles? Like the flag idea, too - would suggest some kind of banner with emblem behind seated figure? Can't wait to see what you do with it!
