Description
For souls that long to pray
Seeking the darkness to find
Silence to listen to
The desperate praying mind
Off in the distance
Another soul cries
But darkness hides all tears
Behind the praying eyes
And who will listen slightly
To the souls that pray in vain
When greed to some maybe need
For tears to fall like rain
Hunting for an answer
When there is no answer there
Seek the night by ear
When silence comes to care
I tend to wonder
As silence covers ears
Darkness has found a way
To cover silent tears
And the soul that seeks to pray
From a desperate mind
The night knows when to come
For the souls it seeks to find
I hold my eyes to the darkness
And what do I see
Tears don't blur my vision
When nothing's in front of me
Then in the silence
Answers I seek to find
Somewhere in the darkness
Of a desperate praying mind

This is so lost and lonely. A prayer said but not expected to be answered. There is light for all who try open their eyes and look. Even if they think the whole world is dark.

Pray for illumination, for enlightenment, light always seems much brighter after being in the dark! sometimes even painfully bright. Right? Great expression of emotion, Shabetei.
