They sure know how to build em there.Looks like it is close up by Orroville or that region, because of the almost desert look. Gorgeous perspective here. Might say that that top of building in bottom could be cropped. But leave just the bit of road. A thought anyways.

Love your POV. Amazing how they construct bridges. Reminds me of the movie Ghost and the Darkness. Two lions killing men whilst trying to build a bridge in Africa. But beautiful image :)

The 'almost desert look' is real. Pretty dry over there. Excellent shot of a remarkable structure.

I knew this had to be on the east side somewhere. It's not nearly green enough for "our" side. :-) Great picture in any event. I love the way the trestle creates a flow.

Wow, impressive capture of this immense bridge of steel! Quite some differences in elevation here, and trains need some level area.... Have a wonderful weekend! :)

It would be interesting to walk across, but since I am a CSS driver ( Crew Shuttle Driver ) I haul railroad crews and Joso ( One of the sidings ) is just north of this trestle and I have passed this many times and in awe of it everytime. SUPER PHOTO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P. S. Very busy railroad.

I missed this one somehow. An interesting merging of manmade & natural elements here. You have a gift for finding a unique vantage point for a photo & then framing it to create a balanced & harmonious composition...
