G'day. I have just bought a Canon 100mm Macro Lens for my Digi SLR and i have been trying it out today (rather excitedly) but it was raining so i managed to try a few drop shots !!! Hope is ok. Any Macro hints would be handy!!

Lovely clarity. I love the reflection in the drops. But honestly for me the shot is kinda boring. Plain POV and not much compo to mae it a fantastic macro (for me). Maybe changing the POV so the you were looking along the same lines as the branch and drops looking like they were gonna flow into your lens... Just my thoughts...

perfect focus... maybe a crop with just 3 or four biggest droplets and without leaves?
