Description

Chalk pastels on A3 cartridge paper, 8th February 2006 Sitting in the car on a local country lane with Cassie (where she created this dedication to Australian artist Brett Whiteley) I spent several minutes staring at the blank sheet of paper wondering what to do. It was then that I looked through the windscreen at the row of trees and foliage in front, everything diffused in the glare of the afternoon sun... something quick and Impressionistic came to mind... Thank you for taking a look and your feedback is always much appreciated :-)

Just like you to make a feature of the windscreen wiper skid marks!

Neat idea Jim! It creates the strangest sense of space & movement.

Wonderful minimalism. I love the windshield wiper markings that are included. At first I though they were some reference to sun rays, and I guess they are in a way.
