Very nice job Ang. Love your water and your POV makes me feel like one of the gulls flying towards the ship.

The seagull (lower right) is just out-of-frame enough to create the effect that Quest mentioned. Excellent. The bow wave and quarter wave on the hull are very realistic. All the other seagulls are great...except one. The upper right seagull, great while following your "out of frame" concept, but colouring and texturing makes it look cartoonish and odd in this image. Oh, and the whitecap wave (centre right) is excellent. The vanishing point of the water is too short but (me being a sailor) exact-realistic. You see this effect in lots of photos of boats in rought seas. I don't know if you intended this effect, but I like it.

I've removed the offending seagull. I appreciate the comments. Someone coming in new won't know what the composition looked like before. Please let me know if it has an odd feel to it. Having removed a big object, I feel the empty spot when I look at the scene, so I'm not objective. And thanks so much for looking.

Yo-Ho Blow the man down! This is just excellent! My only crit would be with Jeds rigging. There simply isn't enough of it. The sea is fantastic. The pov very imaginative and I love the lighting. Very well done, Ang. One of your very best! 'v'

This is an excellent render Angela. I love those white caps on the water. The seagull in the lower right corner of you image gives this image some excellent depth. You have out done yourself with this render. Fantastic work. 8)

Go girl! This is awesome. The wind rippled water surface is great. I hope this means you have time to start posting some more stuff.

I think if anything were o be in that top right corner, i would need to be extremely subtle. with the weight of the ship and the proximity of the gull near he viewer, we really need a place for he eye to rest. That space of open sky is a comfort.
