Very nice design and idea. If you're inclined to do anything with the mountains, try increasing the resolution of the terrain, if your machine will handle it. In the terrain edior, it's the icon that's a little grid of squares. Select a 1024x or higher and have a look. Without doing anything else, it can make a big difference to the look and 'scale' of mountain terrains.
