Description

Yesterday, the nicest ferret ever, Sylvan, lost her fight with cancer and old age. I will miss you terribly.

I was sorry to read about your pet's death. I just lost my little black dwarf bunny, Kipper, last Saturday. He was only 4 yrs old. I just bought a couple more, one black and one silver gray this weekend. It helps, but I still grieve for my loss. They are family and it's so hard to lose them.

My deepest condolences. I lost my budgie Chip last Monday. He was five. I live alone and he was my only companion. It is hard to lose a pet. I agree with IceDancer: the best thing to do is to buy a new one. I've had four budgies now since 1980, and I'm going to buy another one soon. This is the best remedy: you'll be busy with your new pet, get attached to them, and in the end forget your grief over the old one.

So sorry for your loss of an awesome animal! I have a ferret too, and I dread the day she leaves me. Our Father calls them home when he needs them to work for him though, so be grateful for the time you did have and cherish the pics. and memories! Lots of hugs and blessings!

My sincerest condolences. These guys are a presence all out of proportion to their size. That is still a ripe old age for a fuzzbutt. You are lucky to have had her so long.

Sorry to hear about the loss. I know how you feel. I had two ferrets, one was 9 and the other 10, loss both of them within a month of each other. I know you had lots and lots of fun with her.

I too had a ferret...when I was younger. I still miss her. She was a great companion, with a great personality. The only consolation I can offer is that your life was made all the more richer because of the time you shared together. :)
