Description

-------------- Old Calladon - The Lords of Death

In the ancient crypts of the second level, Suuliman had been lord and master for many years. When the second Silver Gryphon ventured there over thirty years ago in search of Sir Tarlik Harrahvius' betrothed, they were faced with the task of defeating the Arch-Liche. But he had many undead servants at his beckon call. Foremost amongst them, his swordarm, as it were, was the one they called the Death Knight, the WarLiche, Lord Orlagnor. But in a pitched battle, Rogund Drachensgrab, the Dragonmaster who trained Darius Falcone, defeated Lord Orlagnor. Rogund died at the hands of Suuliman, and then the Silver Gryphon defeated the Arch-Liche and destroyed his soul stone. One would think that was the end of it. But all that did was free Lord Orlagnor from his imprisonment in Old Calladon. He was later faced and destroyed by Darius Falcone in the necropolis of Vorhingaard. The final chapter of the story of the Death Knight?

No. Old Calladon never throws away a useful villain, nor permits one to stay dead for long, or in Lord Orlagnor's case, de-animated for long. Seeing a need for him, Tiamat recreated Lord Orlagnor's soul stone within the ancient crypts, and freed his soul from torment in the fires of Avernus. In Old Calladon he began to summon the undead to his service. For there would be a time when he would be needed by his Queen once again, and the master WarLiche of Old Calladon had no desire to return to the pits of Hell.

Fantastic scene! Love their poses, as if this was all very natural and you might see them in a normal court rather than in a section of undead :D

FANTASTIC combination of armors!!! This is awesome and the details are impressive! Great use of shadows to make the skeleton guards look more ominous!
