Description
A couple reason's why this image came to be...A close friend was joking I needed to render her and during another session Poser crashed and when reloaded the hair texture disappeared resulting in what you see here. I decided to throw the two together and experiment with some other things and create this image.
I won't officially name it after her until she tells me to...but she did put it on her mobile as wallpaper (thanks hun, best compliment anyone could give)
OK...the nuts and bolts. The hair is no big deal. Basically I removed the texture map for color but kept the trans map. Fiddle with some other settings and was happy. Earlier I had created a 2nd skin for Jessie but never used it. Here I gave it a try. Worked better than I thought except (you knew that was coming) it doesn't run smooth around her hip resulting in jaggieness. Other than that the displacement and AO is right on. I debated on using focal blur. I always looks to jagged to me but during a preview render I noticed a moire pattern in her hair. Not an effect I like but this time it looked like a shadow cast by the windows so I left it in. Other than that I used fast-scatter SSS, an IBL light for fill (using the background texture) and a soft spotlight.

I'm surprised there's not more comments. I think it came out very well. I really love the long hair and the lighting from the right. Nice work!!
