Description

We have all had partial amnesia at one point or another. Those times where thoughts are swirling around your head, but never seem to become concrete. They travel in an incoherent pattern often converging to create a memory that may or may not be real. Sometimes those groupings of remembered images become the reality that we live in, and often they never existed in the first place. Do we live in the real world? Or, is the world which we percieve a culmination of memories that never really happened? This is my first attempt at true abstract painting and served as an entry for a contest as well as a christmas present. BTW this is oil on a 24x24 stretched canvas. Still nice and wet!

Very expressive in color, form, light and movement. Great first effort. I really love the vibrancy of your color palette. There is a sense of new discovery and the excitement of a first look or realization, which fits your concept and title.
