Description


Prior to seeing this animatronic, I had no idea such a dinosaur existed. And if I hadn't know this was a realistic depiction, I'd have said the sculptor erred and put the fin in the wrong place. This guy was about 10' at mid-back.

Yup, the dino is an Amargasaurus - a 'small' sauropod from South America (or 'Gondwanaland' as it was then)
