Something about me? O Kay! I have recently moved to North Carolina from Oregon, and being recently retired,I find myself busier than ever. Photography is a whole new world for me and I am most grateful for your comments and time taken. Thank you.BIOWhere to start? First, let me say that I am a very young mother with very old children(4 sons), and my motto is "If it doesn't sparkle, don't buy it". I am either a 'new hippy' or a 'new gypsy',(the vote is still out on that). Let me say how much I am enjoying all of the wonderful exibitions of your talents. Thank you, May our gracious Creator, Jehovah, Bless each of you and your wonderful appreciation of His Creation.

Our facination will old homes is kind of fascinating in and of itself. We spend our lives in a wooden box and learn to identify ouselves withour surroundings...then when we see an old empty shell we wonder what could have gone on in there many years ago...

Well captured. That design of the smaller buildings roof off loading rain/snow toward the side of the other building is disasterous. Only in the driest of climates would that last. Excellent photo.

No flood in this one. Happier subject. Better mood.

It's sad & exciting when I find scenes like these while I'm out scouting around. I also think about the families that may have lived there. Then my creative mind takes over and I start seeing things in the camera's eye!! {VOTE}
