The Pleiades.
The Seven Sisters.
At right top, Mum and Dad sit, bright Atlas and beautiful Pleione.
Their beautiful daughters sit admiring them. Clockwise from closest to Atlas are:-
Alcyone, Asterope (at the bottom, she is a double star), Maia (above Asterope), Taygeta, Celaeno, Electra and finally Merope.
This is a cluster of new stars, less than 100M years old.
Every society on the planet has wonderful stories about these stars, you can see the cluster in the winter with unaided eyes.
The Japanese call it Subaru. Look at the logo on the Subaru cars and you will see this cluster.
North is down, South is up (thats just the way a telescope sees things, turned 180

Yay, this constellation is even in my gallery, long time ago! :) Fantastic work, much better than mine! One of the very few constellations even mentioned in the bible! Gorgeous work!
