Description

I'm not so good at using Bryce to render scapes. So more and more I find myself using it just as a renderer, (fantastic one I must add) This pic started life as a texture test on the ship. Progs Used: MoJo for the scape (then dropped in the back) DoGa to build the ships (as always) PP8 for the flare. Irfanview for gamma fix and resize. Hah! enough with the waffle... Best Regards. nano.

Yeah, Baby. This is not a bad image but the competition is hyper-stimulated. I wish you luck with this one. I ranked it excellent.

yes, i love the landscape, those desert sands are just the best. I always love your ships too, very cool. Just too add, I don't know if it's recently crashed, or been there for a bit, but maybe some excentuated sand painted on it, gathering in pockets, or just to one side, maybe towards the back, as if wind swept dirt and sand is being collected by the edges, and then towards the front of the ship have some sweeping off, as being blown away, just an idea but it totally works as is. Very cool Nano, keep pushing the envelope, imagine a vision, take that image and when you say to yourself, damn that is a lot of work, DO IT! but first and formost, ask yourself when your done with it, are you happy with it? cause that is all that really matters, not comments, not votes, no other benchmark for that matter. can't wait for the next one man. =)

I love the sand partially covering the ship as well as mose of the image. What i'm not a big fan of is the large sand dune to the left, it doesn't look natural. It might look better if it was a rocky outcrop or a softer shaped dune, not an outcrop shaped dune. That said the rest of the image looks excellent!

Bril. I love the terrains you create. Really nice feel to the sand texture as well. I can almost feel the fine sand blowing off the cliffs.
