Description

This is my other late kitty Mischief. He was run over about 3 months after we moved and the house was on quite a busy street. The cars just don't seem to be able to go under 80 Km/h... So I had a guy phoning saying that he found my cat lying on the side of the road... I think he knocked him over but was to scared to say... I went to find him covered in blood his jaw frozen open and eye outside his head. I couldn't cry and haven't since. I wrapped him in newspaper and proceeded to dig a hole... All at 23h00 after a night out with friends at dinner... This was in Nov 2004. He was only 11 months old and was sterlised. Thanks to all for such kind comments yesterday. I edited this shot, not very good editing, but I was still learning back then...

Sad sad story. Young cats have to learn how to survive in busy streets. Hope your little friend remained dead at the place of the accicent. Hugs.

Oh Im so sorry to hear about your loss, a little cutie he was this wonderful little kitten, but maybe its right as the old sayin goes: "curiosity killed the cat" me myself have sometimes nearly been killed, just of the same reason, so take care out there! This is a most wonderful memorial picture of this dear creature! Thanks for sharing!

When you lose a baby to old age or sickness it is one thing but people just don't care about babys. I learned the hard way too. I keep my babys inside all the time now to keep them safe.

Sorry to here and read your story, thats why cats and small dogs especially should not be allowed outside unless they have a private fenced in area to play in. . . too many people don't care about hitting cats with their cars, speed is more fun the kitty was in the way
