cracking start, i made a few tapes for a post a while back and found it pretty tough modelling all those details that make it look beleivable. Try adding some mould lines around the centre of the tape as most are made in 2 halves and stuck together, + tapes are usually cheep nasty plastic so the joints usually have visible bits of stray plastic. time to get texturing!

great advice. thanks a lot. i am actually making a NES cart with all those details modeled, not textured. look out for it in a few days. (plus, i can't really texture, just now learning :P)
