Description

Hi everybody ... I'm still in that contest, ahem ... it's over in 23 hours and I don't know which version I shall make the final. Maybe you remember my first version I posted here (it's the last one in this row). I played around with everything, but it seems I'm in love with that version 1, I'm not really wanting to change something. After some good suggestions I'm at this point. Please, just tell me wich one you like most. The eye in the foreground ist only mapped over, the original-version is still rendering and can be added tomorrow, so don't have a to critical eye on that eye yet. Hope I get some good advices here :-))

I'm your opinion, the first picture looks great. Maybe some fog in the foreground and some skulls instead of the brighter stones ... in addition I find the eye fills the picture too much. Nevertheless excellent picture. Good luck for the contest.

Thanks ... I just see a mistake in my description: The original one is the first in the row, the upper. So you mean the upper one is the best?

I remember this guy! I like the 2nd image - but minus the eye. I like the extra bulky arms and gooey feet of that one vs the very top image. It's also seperated nicely by the fog/mist/atmo so it pops out really well - but I find the eye too prominant and distracting. While it could add interest, I'm not sure it's needed. The rest of the images seem to get too busy - which would also detract from the creature. With the first two, the creature is placed very well IN the environment. Overall - excellent job!
