Description

This is an update to my city ive been modeling. (you can see the older images in my gallery) This is almost completed. Just a few more things I need to add and fix. The polygon count is at 2.4 million and it might hit 3 million by the time its completed.

Are you planning on selling this model? Its extremely cool. I could almost see it floating in the clear blue sky or even with some form of dome over it as it drifts through space. Very kewl.

Absolutely fantastic! I cant wait to see some finnished images with this! (after all, you done the hard bit now, dumping it in nice reflective water is easy ;) ) If your going to put it in water that is...after all....they have been hinting that we will see it fly for awhile now ;)

One look at this model makes me want to break out singing that classic Donovan song, "Way down below the ocean, where I want to be, she takes me" Unfortunately, you model a lot better than I sing. Great Job!

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I have no plans right now to sell it. There is still more to do, and some textures need to be changed and fixed. This has proven to be a long time consuming project.... especially for a beginner like myself.

I can perfectly understand this being time consuming, but its definitely worth it. Looking great so far. :)

It is really impressive, however with he polygon c(o)unt I think you should rationalize. I 've had some huge projects but i never went over 50.000 polys in one scene. Unless you want to go really close and show some details it is unnecessary. My ranking is excellent, though.
