Description

Spent a long time doing various renders of this and tweaking it here and there - It gets hard to see if you're actually going in the right direction when you've been staring at it a long time! Anyway, lots of ecosystem, modified water ripples & lots of sunlight! GA, volumetric render.. Fog in the distance and there you go. Please, please, please leave any comments or any tips!! Cheers, Ed

The Pov here is perfect - when you need a Tip: little shore effect and a sand Texture - but I like your work its more than ok- looks excellent Regards Umberto

Ed the one thing that dose not seem quite right is the direction of the surf. With the top of the picture cut off by the beach ,it seem's unlikely the tide would come from your direction. I too have just got Vue from upgrading Light Wave ,but i'm not in your league yet.If you make any changes please let me know Acer10.

Improve it.......never its great. I am only a novice with Vue Infinite, and it would be a dream to produce such a picture.

Agree with Umbretro: You need a nice sand texture ( maybe use the sand texture taht comes with Vue, get rid of the second material, and decrease bump size of the one you keep, and increase the bump effect.) You also need a real shoreline effect; render times will rocket sky high, but this wonderful POV, lighting and veggie work deserves it.

Gorgeous scene. I think the ripples need to be angled a bit one way the other - but they are magnificent.

AMAZING!!! Really cool, i think you may have a problem I tend to have: Faint lines in the waters... But it's only like that in the foreground... or maybe my eyes are kooky... either way, it's IT's REALLY NICE LOOKING

I think the plant called small palm anyway, they are too big in my opinion and overall great image...I wish there was a way to create foam along the shore line in Vue, I heard you can do it but not sure how

Very good image, one can see that you've put a lot of effort in it. Anyway you asked for feedback regarding improvements and such, so here I go. ;) How about adding some spray/foam where the waves hit the shore. I remember there was a great tutorial about it in the Vue forum or backroom. And the sand ripples at the ground in front of the picture go in the wrong direction if compared with the waves on the surface. Hope this helps. Still a great image though. :)))
