abstract-005g
Created in March, 2002 as part of a series of abstract images I did purely with Bryce 5.
(the others are in my gallery here)
One of a pair that use the same viewpoint and primitives pile but have completely different MATs to give a different look and feel.
BTW, according to my filename(s) methodology I think this uses the same primitives pile as my last posted image "abstract-005d", or "Inside the Steinway".
Quite often I'll have some interesting primitives piles that bring up nice looking scenes but I'll then play around by throwing in one or more wild MAT's just to see what happens.
The beauty about doing these abstracts is that if something doesn't turn out, I just junk it all and start again with some new ones and it doesn't feel like I've wasted my time or energy since it's all so easy to do. :-)
All these things are meant to be desktop wallpapers and these last few ones that I'll be posting look best in that respect.

Super cool. It's a rare treat to see great Bryce abstracts. This has an organic and warm feeling to it. Well done.
