absolutely gorgeous, I loved a sense of depth and extension; the strong lights are so well done too; how long did it take you to pick the program? is it all your modeling or did you use the existing product? in either case, looks really really well done.

this has turned out really well - interesting to flick between this and the WIP model. Would be keen to see a follow up to the forum as to your textures and lighting technique - is the lighting all C4D or is there some post work in there? Any way - excellent result!!

Alan42, The texturing is just regular, differently colored C4D materials with dirt maps applied. Really simple stuff actually. As for the lighting, most of it is C4D. What i basically did was to brighten up the scene and added the sunrays in Photoshop. I couldve used volumetrics, but i prefer the total control you get with the rays when done in post. :)

From the WIP's you posted in the Cinema forum this has come out very well. For other viewers it's worth having a look at the WIP's to see the incredible amount of work that went into this scene.

Stunning! I already saw the WIP a while ago and was impressed by the amount of detail! The lighting is excellent!!! Beautiful

Whatever it may be - looks quite authentic! But then the lighting with it's shiny reflections lift the scene up beyond any flabby reality.

Another great bit of work. I was starting to wonder what had happened with those wips. For some reason, this looks cleaner and less dirty than your other ones... maybe its the lighting making it look crisper or something - less of that light through dusty atmosphere look. Makes it look newer. Very cool stuff :)

I also enjoyed watching the evolution of this scene from the WIP stage. Any peek into the processes you use to do such extraordinary work is appreciated.

Astounding as usual! What bothers me is that you only used half of the scene you built!

Great pic. Ligting is always your greatest asset and it is mysterious here.

To light and render this scene would be impressive enough, but to model it as well is superb.
