Description

According to faery lore, the Asrai are very delicate faes that melt away into a pool of water when captured or exposed to light. Tons of hours went into creating this image. I don't know if I captured the delicatiness of this fae but I thought that the name sounded really cool. This is my second time trying to digitally paint with my Wacom Tablet. Poser 5 and As Shanim's Keilo Shapes was used to morph the figure but the rest of the figure was painted. Credits: Wizzard's Staff From RDNA modified by me.

Yay, I remember the Asrai from Alan Lee's and Brain Froud's "Faeries" book. Real nice hair and cloth painting - she sure does look delicate. Maybe a waterfall in the background?
