Description
a large group of teens were invited to 2 18th birthday parties last night they were both near by so they decided to walk from one to another - all were having a blast laughing and joking.
shortly before 10pm tragedy struck - 5 will laugh no more and 7 are seriously injured 2 of whom are not expected to survive (one has been taken off life support). My sister lives in this small town and was on duty last night at the hospital as they were brought in.
My cousins boy was at one of the parties and my son knew all that died and those who survived. They were victims of a hit and run the driver (man in his 30's) fled his car leaving his 2 children (10 and 4) in it. Cardross mourns and so do we
update - a 6th child - josie has also died and a class mate of daniels is in the childrens hospital in a critical condition
we have suffered enough!

It's always a tragic loss when young vibrant,and happy people are taken from us so senselessly. Not only for the families,and friends,but the community as a whole. And, a very hard thing for the young ones left behind who knew those who are taken. Sympathies are with you,and all who are touched by this horrific event.

That is truly sad hun and the image as well as the words express that sadness :( I have been a pedestrian a good chunk of my life and know how dangerous it can be - somehow it was no surprise that he left his children behind since he had no regard for those that werent his either - my sympathies to all who lost and recovery wishes for those struggling to survive.
