Everywhere people with camera's find their way in this world to make their shots. I like the art of taking realistic pictures, because it provides a way to show how I experience this world. It is a way for other people to look through my eyes.Nature ... exists primarily for her face, her look, her appeals to the heart and the imaginationGeorge MacDonaldJan-Carel Vierbergen
Picture courtesy of Ruut WegmanBIOIt is all in the family: love for hiking in the nature. Since my childhood I'm used to walk with father, brothers, cousins, etc., and take pictures (Minolta X-700 with 28-70 mm and 100-300 mm zoom) of what I see. I grew up in Ede (The Netherlands), studied Electrical Engineering in Eindhoven and I am working now as Coordinator e-learning at the Christelijke Hogeschool Ede (http://www.che.nl) where I implement digital assessments for students and assist students in DTP and creating websites.
Since I know little about photographing as well as computer science it was not difficult to find ways for putting images on the web. The only thing to look for now is to find ways for showing the slides in a convenient way. I tried already something at http://www.che.nl/users/jcv (Dutch only, click at Dia's van de natuur in Nederland en de Alpen), but this platform provides good means to share my pictures with others.
I hope you enjoy this!

I can almost smell spring just by looking at this shot...although spring seems to be sooo far away. Never had this much snow before as weve got this winter. Had another 2 feet since wednesday and it just stopped snowing...UGH. I WANT SPRIIIIING!!! Heck...i even want bugs and mosquitos again...sigh. Thanks for showing me what i have to look forward to. Have a wonderful sunday buddy. #:O)

My eyesight is improving! I see yellow! I like how they curve into cockle shells. No flat daisies that don't curl up at night into perfect cocoons. Fertility is something that is a great pleasure. It always shares.

when I was in Death Vally last week I saw one lone flower near the edge of the salt deposits, and I was impressed that the weed was living against all odds. non existent water, high alkaine content and no one had stepped on it. your flowers are beautiful and many odd things are happening because of global warming
Cosine
Even though they bloom in winter, they seem like a hint of spring. Thank you for sharing.
