I find there is always a shadow problem with these HDR renders: the shadows are so small, and only happen around the edges of the objects on the ground plane. Maybe adding another source light to give longer shadows would make it better.

I have also noticed the shadow problem. That's why i chose this hdri scene. The area is mostly in shadow so it reduces the need for lighting.
