And I can't help myself.... this is not V3... it is not SP3... it's certainly not M3... this is... and can you believe it....MIKI... I Think I'm in Love... Had a hellava time rendering this... until.. and here's a tip... Tamela said "Turn Visible in Raytracing off for the hair"... which I did... also turned off all AO... but finally I got a render... doesn't show the texture as good as I would have liked... but I was so pleased to get a render before Poser did a dump on me... again! This is the gorgeous... never seen before (except in their renders) ... combination of TamelaJ and UweMattern... we are going to be frightened and amazed with what two incredible artists can produce... wish I got the perfect render for this amazing package soon to be released... by Tamela and Uwe Thanks for looking and commenting... Oh wow... now look at this stylish makeup! Miki has changed a lot here and now looks quite eurasian. I don't know exactly why but she reminds me on pictures of some of the suicide-girls models I've seen lately.

WOW. She really is gorgeous. I think you have done a great render that shows off her beauty. Now this is a Miki character so I am assuming that you need the basic Miki right ??? I know, another dumb question. lol. I dont have Miki. But I do like this render. Poser dumps on you ? Bad Poser. so from what your write, I assume the hair comes with the character. The hair is the only part that looks, not bad, but like she really needs to buy some hair conditioner. lol. It is possible that they were going for a kind of china doll look which this render definitely has. I think it is wonderful. So there.......lol.

The result is great, notwithstanding the tuning-down of the settings - confirming that a clever approach to this can significantly reduce render times and needed system resources, or even make the render just possible!, without impacting too much on quality! Tamela's tip is great, never thought of it, but now I guess hair could easely involve a lot of computations with raytracing (BTW this could answer my wondering 'bout why As Shanim had turned this out for his(her?) hair, cnfr the comments for Your "Still Playing with me Balls"). AO too consumes a lot, and most of the time is not really significant (e.g. on her cheeks!). My approach would be to turn it on deliberately on those mats where it's really needed. Having a lot of mats for a mesh, as Poser's policy enforces, is just what we need for this! One piece of mat for which I'd keep AO on is nostrils, the rest by judgement on results...

I love the selection of clothes and makeup, all colors are fitting in this image. Doing portraits is the hardest in P6 runs faster out of mem then on a full body render..Nice tip from The Pinkus, but Miki has no nostril mat zone..;-) Cool render my friend!
