Description
Funny story about this carnation, lol, and the white one you can faintly see behind it. Well. On the day before Valentine's day, I bought a white carnation to put in my room. You know, spice things up a bit, pretty, white...yay! Well, a little girl I babysit never got a flower for Valentine's day, and was all mopey, so I gave her my white carnation. After about a day and a half, I was getting buggy with seeing the empty vase on my shelf. So I went out and bought four of them, in case I had to give one away to someone again. And, I don't like pink really, but this one is my favourite of the bunch.

Awwww-what a sweetie to give your only flower to turn a child's mopey frown into a smile. I think your picture captures the beauty of the carnation which I personally think is a most underrated flower. They are beautiful on their own or can enhance any bouquet, they come in every color, have a long shelf life and they won't cost your sweetheart $100 on Valentines Day-whats not to love? LOL I really like the picture-the softness to it almost looks like a painting. Thanks for another entertaining tale from "The Days of Your Life".giggles
