This shell has interesting history. It has been at the bottom of my fish tank, It has been in my turtle tank and now it ended sadly as decoration on our bath tub. Good work. I specially like the texture. V

What a gorgeous still life. Light and shadows are perfect. I think i prefer the right one...front i think it is. Have a great one. #:O)
LostPatrol
It would have to be the front because for me it illustrates the wonderful texture detail better and like the swirling patterns too, both though are lovely.
Niutek
No dirty minds or is it just me? :)))
lwperkins
Can I choose both? I love shells and you have brought out the beautiful colors and swirling shapes beautifully!

The strong light has worked well to bring out the textures here - both great shots! Oh ok I'll choose then :D The one on the right :)

Well, both are lovely...I think there are many sea creatures that have an erotic beauty to them. Nice presentation! :0)

Oh, BTW - I do know I oversharpened it, I can see this now that I look at it on my work monitor (Michelle would actually cry if she saw this! sorry, Chelle - you taught us better than that!) I'll try to do something with it when I have a mo' to spare. I really need a new monitor at home.

I love the crisp contrast presentation here...looks like it was taken in the sunshine. It doesn't look too sharpened to me.

the oversharpening gives a nice calcium-dust clarity... if you know what the heck i'm talking about. a great dual image... i know this museum that is looking for a photographer... it's part of a chain... lol
