Description

The view south from Ben Ime. Yesterday started off with clear blue skies. By the time I was at the top of Ben Ime it was in thick mist, typical. Never mind it was nice to see some snow cover at last. ^^/\^^ Thanks for viewing

You have caught the mood and light rays perfectly, I have been on the Pentlands when it looks like this, luckily there isnt too far to run to safety there! Not much in the way of decent snow this year, looks like you got lucky, I know you love this time of year.

Ahhh, eventually snow! I missed that in your earlier shots (not that I do bother but it puzzled me, the mountain tops even in winter not covered with snow, it must be a relatively warm winter, I guess). Wonderful capture! It seems there is some precipitation on its way to you when I look to the background.... :)

Lovely shot, Anthony, although I had to check it was not on Christianfly's site, since he renders these very naturally, rather than gets his hiking boots and equipment on, and gleefully accepting the challenge. Yes this winter has not been anything like as cold or wet as it usuallly is in Scotland. Mind you we did have a localised thunderstorm, and freak hail storm in Glasgow, last week. The hails stones looked more like broken windscreen glass but much bigger! Weird. Regards, John.
