Last week-end, I was in Venezia, attending the festivities for the opening of the Carnival !!

oh ouiiiiiiiiii, mon coeur est revenuuuuuuuuu, tu sais que tu m'as manqu!! Mais oui, c'est vraiiii.. Imagine, une longue semaine sans toi ni nathalie06 :((( Par contre tu reviens avec une image pleine de reflection sur la nature de l'homme : destructif ou amant de la nature. J'aime le ton de couleur me si je n'aime pas voir toutes ces machines poluantes... Au fait, 700 photos? je calcule que pendant 2 ans on va se raler les yeux!!! LOL... gros bisous et contente de te revoir mon grand ;)

The lagoon always had a reputation for mystery, aloofness and was a factor in keeping Venice free from attack. Its independence survived until Napoleons day. That is quite an achievement. You have given that mystery a modern setting. An evocative picture. Great!

the refineries looks like south Texas between Houston and Galveston and I bet the water is as dirty also. I would not eat a fish that close to oil pollution. excellent picture
