Kimmie....i live by the Polar Circle....this shot was taken around 10am, lol. So as you see the sun is rising earlier and earlier. In the middle of the winter the sun doesnt rise before noon and its only up like an hour or so. #:o( It gets made up for that though in the summer when the sun never sets. #:O)

Great shot and very interesting lighting. The dark trees and the bright ground seem to compress the distance (or is that your garden shed in the distance) :-)

Holy Crap 10 AM! You would never get me up in the morning if I lived there. Gorgeous sunrise, the sky looks like it is on fire and everything else is snow covered and frigid. Beautiful photography!
