After leaving the ruins behind, D'Akar and Kara traveled for almost a day where they reached the mighty desert that stretched on for miles. They camped for a while to rest then started on their journey again at sun rise. They hadn't gotten very far into the desert when they ran into a group of Claw Vipers that tried to make a quick meal out of them, but to their misfortune, D'Akar is a master in using his sword and fighting, so he made quick work of them. As D'Akar started to destroy the last Claw Viper, the ground started to shake, afraid to take his eyes off the viper because they are deadly and quick, he didn't look to see what was causing the earthquake, but Kara did. It was a huge Sand Dragon that had more than likely been awaken from all the noise during the fight between D'Akar and the Claw Vipers. D'Akar quickly posed himself to dispose of the last Claw Viper and turn to face the new threat that was rising up from the hot dusty ground behind him.....
