I'm back!!!!! Sure hope there's some people in here still that I know.....It's been a very long last few years. Very bad. After I ended up back out in Arizona, my husband kidnapped the kids.
And No, I still do not know where they are, and have not heard from them. I greatly appreciate all the love I've gotten from friends regarding the situation, but it's just not a subject I enjoy speaking about.
I'm now living in Neosho, Missouri. Have been for close to a year now. Very happy with a fiance thats been in my life for 2 years now. He calls me his Queen!
Here's more if anyone's interested. Love, peace, and freedom!

Yup, it sure looks like a baby-woodpecker...but im no expert. If i were an expert i would probably not have wrestled that ostrich just to confirm that they have hands and claws under their wings...again a totally different story. And will ya look at that....another hockeygame is on. Lovely find and capture. Have a great day. #:O)

Ooooh - I envy you being able to step out into nature in the morning (when it's warm enough)... Nothing more wonderful than grabbing a cup of coffee and the camera and stepping outside to experience the morning as it unfolds. Whether you get any "keeper" images or not, you've still had a great morning!

Great shot Velvet :D It does look like a woodpecker. Like the ones here I've been trying to capture. They fly away on me or go higher than my zoom lens likes to go... sigh. Anyhoo, it is a great photo. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Ya know, I was thinking it's a baby woodpecker too. Anyone else have any thoughts? Great image by the way. I can never get this close to them.

Wonderful capture of this little woodpecker - there are small and bigger woodpeckers so I guess this might just be a small (young?) one! :)

Yup! Looks like a lil' woodpecker to me too, but I too am no expert. I can't even seem to find out some species/genus info on some plants I've captured and want to post. I guess I'll just start a series titled "Unidentifiable Vegetable Matter, No.1, No.2, etc." I honestly don't mind the double-pane haze here, but I can't help but wonder if a bit of contrast wouldn't have brought out more definition. Great capture none-the-less, considering! Cool capture Velvet!
