Description

Hi all. Thanks to everyone who commented on my last gallery image. "Meandering", click here if you missed it"
God Bless
Just another picture from Death Valley Calif. Bentchick (My Wife) and I go there sometimes to warm up, take pictures, hike, bike ride and camp. It's some times 35 or 40 degrees F warmer than our home. Once it was snowing at home, I left for death valley and it was 65 and sunny when I got there 4 hours later. Shorts weather. Yeh Baby.

Now that just doesnt look real even. What a cool looking landscape!!! Could easily have been mistaken for a Terragen render, except the pepples in the foreground are a tad too real-looking, lol. Beautiful photo. Have a great day. #:O) ...no wonder i could see the resemblence in your shots then...hehe.

Hi danob and PeeWee05 No mine dumps here in this shot. These are natural formations. The forground had recent flooding that made the terraces. The hills in the back are the result of slow errosion of these hills

The thumb doesn't do the amazing play of light, texture, and color justice. What an incredible photo - gorgeous! V

You could have fooled me into believing it is a Terragen render. It looks very unreal. I love these desolate harsh places. You captured the relief and texture very well, I believe the lighting was the key for it.
