Description

Hello all. I like this way this one is coming out so far, and I'm posting it as a WIP. I have some more things I want to try with it, but I'm looking for some suggestions or critiques. I'm trying to learn patience and develop a pic over the course of a few days rather than 2 and a half hours like most of my renders take me. So, please feel free to openly give constructive suggestions on improvement. Thank you!

I like the concept here, and the pose is great! The question would be, how/why is he contained? Did he just get captured? Or is he a lab rat? Depending on the answer, the lighting may be very different. If just captured, this darker lighting would be the route to go, if he is a lab rat, then there might be a more focused light on him, so the good doctor could "Observe" him? ; ) I like the direction it's going!!!

Fabulous alien scene! I like the color and light setting which gives this scene a scary atmosphere! Excellent work! ***

Patience? What is that 'cause I don't have any. For a WIP this is already awesome. I love the way you have his hand around the post and the lighting is excellent. As good as this is already I can't wait to see any 'improvements' you might make.

Hey, this is excellent as is, I have such a hard time being patient and overdo it or forget stuff (heck B @ B was supposed to have two birds in it and just this morning noticed they weren't there). On this image have you thought of raising the head as if screaming in frustration with highlighting of the head torso area??

Fantastic lighting and atmosphere. I think it would be great if that tank was filled with liquid. The Alpha looks wonderful there. I hope they aren't breathing on your neck anymore. 8-) Excellent as it is.

Reminds me of the movie "Independence Day" when the President and Scientists were observing the contained alien life forms. Although this alien is much more interesting!!! Exceptional work as usual!

Love it! My only suggestion would be to add some volumetrics, so it looks like there's some moisture in the air in the container. He looks like he'd need to be in a wet environment.

Super WIP, just needs a rather large nurse with rubber gloves and enema bag, you know the humour path needs to be trodden on, once in a while ? I'm sure you'll come up with the goods...well done Rich ~Cheers~ :o)

.. For a WIP.. This is going really good.. I like the lighting alot.. But I would make him maybe .. a lil more pissed at the idea of being in a container..unless of course he put himself in there But This is most excellent =)

Well I think its awesome the way it is!! The smokey glass is cool and the rich colors too. The only suggestion...well not really a suggestion, just an idea..is. Maybe have parts of the glass cracked, like he has been trying to escape. Cause he does'nt look like the type to just wait calmly.
