Description

APO Greetings All! I have been inundated with e-mails and IM's asking "Who is Dave Matthews?" The Dave Matthews Band formed in Charlottesville, Virginia, in early 1991, when vocalist/guitarist Dave Matthews decided to put some songs he had written on tape. Instead of simply recording himself with a guitar, he opted to bring in some instrumental help to give his musical ideas more depth. Dave found assistance in drummer Carter Beauford and saxophonist LeRoi Moore, who were both accomplished jazz musicians in the local Charlottesville music scene. it is an amazing likeness till the fine hair in his ears... I know because I owned a Capuchino Monkey at one time... "Joepy". I will never forget the good times we had with him.. Thanks for the memories..

I have a love hate relationship with DMB. I like live hippie music (Phish, GD) and they fit fairly well there, but I can't used to Dave's voice and I have been trying for years. I haven't seen them play live yet but plan on doing so. They always play in my part of the world over the Labor Day weekend which is inconvenient for me. I do enjoy a couple of DVDs of them.

Listened to the music but just samples so far. The band is really different and the music is too! Kind of blues lyrics and Jazz/rock combo! Geeze!! this is an amazing Monkey Fractal! Really fantastic Diane! It reminds me of a painting on velvet! Superb! :)
