I like this scene very much, but I like the first version better, because the colors brought more excitement and rebellion to the image! Interesting contrast between the 2 images!!

The main change I see is the lighting, and I hope my comment on the previous post wasn't taken wrong. I like the lighting in the previous one more, as it had a real world context that worked. This one appears a little dark, which would be fin, it is night, but maybe some different colored ambient lights? Hope I'm not confusing things more.

She does seem to fit more naturally with the photo background but the whole image is a bit too dark, like an old sepia photo. A bit sharper contrast and slightly overall brighter might do it. That's assuming your going for a photo-realistic effect. Otherwise, I have to agree with Cindyx. Cool character The. Hugs and Splashes from Dave :^) xxxoooxxx

Okay...the first one is a typical Violet-render...bright lights....colors...etc Some comments on the previous one and the experiments with Photoshop made me wanna change the image.... Sooo....now I am stuck with two different images...... The first one was pure fun.....the second one was experimenting with photoshop.... I like the first one best....LOL...

I agree darling! The first one gave her more your toughness attitude and feel! This one seems a tad too punked out for you!! I love the greens you used in her make up though!

I think they are both great! These shades make her blend more with the background and skintones more real to me Great work

Yes, this looks much better than the previous version. But still, if you look at the background - it has more noise and less sharpness... Try blurring the girl and adding some noise (to her only)... This will rock the effect! :) Have a nice weekend! /Walle

I like the two versions equally, they're both fantastic! If you're working on a comic or series of illustrations with an overall dark and moody atmosphere, then you'll go for this version. You're getting Photoshop under your thumb! Excellent work!!!

I like this one too......but not as much as the original! :o)- But it shows what a difference can be made with postwork finishing - the atmosphere here is totally changed! This has more of a night time feel I think! Good stuff :o)
