Description

I went back and re-did the sky and think it now looks much better. ---------------------------------------- I'm still learning how to use Vue. Delved into atmospheres today. Yeah, it's overdone. I added too many effect in, but wanted to see how they'd render. The stars are a bit bright, too. Still, I like the overall effect of the colors playing on the clouds. I kept this really simple. I didn't even add a terrain and I made the ground almost black, so that the sky and the spider are more prominent. Robospider from Daz.

Good work on the lighting for the robot thingy - kinda like wild skies myself.

Thanks, Crhispoole! Dragonfly2000 - I'm pleased with how the lighting turned out. I added 3 lights and played around with them a lot. As for the sky - I was torn. The first sky definitely did look more alien and the clouds were more prominent. In the revised version I worked to get a more realistic looking sky and one that the colors blended better with the spider.
