Description

Vue 5I. Light postwork with The Gimp (gamma and contrast). The roof texture and the background are made within Vue with ecosystem and saved as bitmaps, then used as map on alpha and terrain. The main terrain is composed of 4 terrains and 3 Mappletrees. The texture is a mix of 3 bitmap of my own collection. Boolean modeling for the small houses. Inspired from a little village in Valle d'Aosta, north of Italy.

Everything perfect except roofing patterns (it is to repetive - you should try another texture) - please change it, as it spoils this spectacular picture. You can find spectacular roofing textures at http://www.mayang.com/textures/Architectural/html/Roofing/index.html

Indeed, has a lot of the North Italian Alp atmosphere. Fantastic. Not to forget the excellent modelling work you have done here.

This is a wonderful scene, the backdrop seems very dark, but that could be my monitor? Your texture work is always superb!!
