Description
Mistress of Time,
She guards me well,
leading me on by her hand.
She holds me fast,
in her invisible grip,
showing me not that which will be,
only that which was.
She doesn't let me stray too long,
(those times I am lost in my thoughts);
but coaxes me back,
with reminders of what could be,
and promises of immortality,dreams,
and fantasy.
I do not always feel her, nor see her,
but she is there overruling us all,
Mistress of Time, ever youthful, eternal...
...unlike me.
