Good Evening Folks!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! I just gotta start this ramble with a loud...WOOO HOOOOOOO for the Swedish Hockey Team that won the Olympic gold-medal earlier today. IN YOUR FACE DOUG!!! LOL...okay okay...that was the last time i gloat...or was it? Muahahahaha!!! #:oP Been away this weekend to pick up our new car. For those of you that asked to see it, you can take a look here. This shot is not of a water-drop...well it is in a way...it was a perfectly frozen ice-drop. And i thought it looked kinda neat, being all round and smooth, hanging from that sharp thorn. I added some grain to it, and i might have overworked the frame a tad...but i

That sure does look like a wicked thorn. Ouch!!!! You'd be getting pretty hurt from that bugger! I love how that droplet is just hanging there, literally frozen in time!!!!

Sorry it took me so long...Congrats on the gold.You must be thrilled....Now onto this 'un.Firstly,you know how much I loved your other thorns pic?Well I love this one just as much,if not more.It's absolutely brilliant Nanook.It has all the elements of feng shui...and they are all balanced perfectly...water,wood,metal,fire,etc...well,you don't follow feng shui,but it's about harmony...and your frame is what puts this in perfect balance.I think your instincts to go with that cement-like texture was dead-on...I would love to see this in real life,framed in silver metal...It would be exquisite.This shot is truly gallery-worthy,Andreas.And I don't mean RR's gallery...I mean the real thing...like in Soho.Okay,look,no one ever agrees with me,and I admit,I have a different 'taste' than most,but I would run with this one...submit it everywhere you can.I promise you...it's brilliant.True art,and one of the best images I have seen at RR.No exaggerating.Okay,done raving...and off to faves,obviously.Too bad I can't have a favorite fave...oh well.LOL.Congrats again on this.Bravo swedie.-:^)
