A heartfelt appreciation to everyone for your comments, FYI's and opinions expressed in last few posts; communication is the biggest factor in effecting change. Not that I felt any need to "tone down" anything; this post/commentary is a continuation of the last 3 posting themes.
Just as Jin was able to adapt 'wild' ferrets as pets by a different mindset approach; or dimension of thinking & treatment if you will, so too, must world humanity thinking.
IMHO, this global village New Age we find ourselves in deff requires a new dimension of thought. Nurturing a new mindset, outside of traditional politics & religious based values, which historically has fueled many a conflict. EVERYBODY alive, on Spaceship Earth, no matter our geo-political location, is in the same boat! In that regard, humanity needs to get over the "my way right, everybody else's wrong, control & domination mindset" that currently exists the world over.
Yes, I know everybody has an opinion, which I respect, and not everybody see's the big picture; which is part of the world's biggest problem. Consider this: Before my Grandfather passed away at the age of 105, in one of our last chats, he'd expressed as how in all the history he'd lived through; "this G.D. world still hasn't learned how to get along." THAT was his biggest sorrow. That was 12 years ago, and I, at the age I am, just within the history I've lived through, both agree with his sentiment, and his flip side, that the getting along is the only KEY to Humanity's Survival.
Thanks for viewing.

No truer words have been spoken Saz. Your grandfather was right. It requires a different mindset as you say, an ability to overcome our 'programming'. What is that saying? "The one thing man has learned from History, is that man doesn't learn from History." What a shame that as a race of supposedly 'superior' beings, we would rather kill our neighbors, than open our hands in friendship to them. Honestly, if we aren't able to change, we deserve what will happen. Just my 2 cents worth, again! Lovely image and the ferrets are adorable too!

A lovely image, indeed. Ah, to retain the wisdom gathered by age and yet to see the beauty and mystery of life through the eyes of a child, accepting no one's paradigm as gospel, to keep the good of all in mind, these are my goals. To hold kindness in our hands, hearts and minds is my wish.

Ah, I think everyone else is totally wrong :-) What is so sad is if you look at Chimpanzee's as an example (there are many more), within their own clan, they respect and nurture and really help each other survive, while if a chimp from a different clan crosses that 'magical' line, they all go crazy, even to the point of death, to chase the intruder out... and we thought our intellegence is what seperates us from them, ha! This render is so gentle and kind, I appreciate the mood is presents!!!

"There is no way to peace, peace is the way." Love the ferrets :-)

In agreement, is just not enough. I think, we think alike. Those who see the "BIg Picture", are but a handful. I love your analogy; "Spaceship Earth" really gets the point across and triggered a bevy of contemplation.__ I have got to try that special effect you have done with the shadows and textures. The "sheen on the green" is I nice touch as well.

I have no opinion on the words, sorry, but love the image. The ferrets and model make a wonderful picture of happiness and curiosity. Well done!

This is a gorgeous image. Love the farrets. Well, as for getting along globally. People can't even get along in their own families. LOL So I'm thinking it's just human nature and a sad fact of it. We all think we are right and that the other's should live the way we do--whether they want to or not. It is sad this world we live in. I doubt it will ever change either. HUGS Maria

Outstanding work of art here Love the way your able to get that layered look and feel as if each part of this piece was done on glass planes and then those planes placed one atop the other to complete the finale scene. Excellent work man.
