Description

"Would you like to hear me play a tune?" the young boy asks. One of my good friends up here Micsteel e-mailed me to make sure everything was alright so I decided it was time to post something and let everyone know I'm still kicking. I've just had a "life" streak. First the back and over time it seems to take longer to get "back" to normal. Anyway, after the back came the ice storm in MI. Over 100,000 were without power for up to 4 days in sub zero temps. I had electric but no phone. Then right after that I got sick with a bad sinus infection. Of course it came with all the goodies, fever, congestion, chills, sneezing.... ect. On top of it all I'm trying to teach myself 3D Max and Cinema 4D. Plus a few other meaningless things such as cleaning and taking Tala (my dog)for walks. Well, the infection has pretty much cleared up and I feel like doing things again.... ~hugs~

Well, I sure as hell am glad to know you are still alive. I have been wondering where the heck you were. You were noticeably absent. In fact, I ask Micsteel if he know where you were. Glad he emailed you. I have miss you girlfriend !! Sounds like you have had a lot on your plate. Odd but there was nothing in the news about your Icestorm.Well, actually that is not odd. The only news we get is about all the murders, rapes and car acccidents in Albuquerque. For such a large state , NM has a small town mentality. Anyway, glad to see you post again. This is a gorgeous image. Absolutely fantastic. I love the character. Who is that guy ? lol . Is that Kenji as a young boy ? You did a brilliant job of creating a marvelous environment that looks so oriental. Beautiful. I am having a bad spelling day, so bear with me, isnt it spelled " flautist " ???? I dont know why I think that but my sister is one and that is how she pronounces it anyway. Well, friend. Keep in touch pleaaaaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I dont want to worry so much. lol. BIG HUGSSSSSSSSSSS and welcome backssss. V

Cool render! Nice use of light to create the shadows! Michigan ice storm 'eh? I'm in metro Detroit. You must be further north, because this has been one of the mildest winters I can remember! Glad to hear you're on the mend though.

We had our own ice storm here in central Texas last week: Almost 1/8" of ice accumulated on the dry twigs and grass. Not enough to do any damage, and the roads were only damp. That's a nice Spring-like background to take our minds off whatever weather we're getting! Not sure about the diaper on that forward lad, tho'! LOL! And the "flute" looks like a bombard: A MUCH louder instrument! :) Flautist and flutist are both correct, and are both pronounced as flutist, so nyah on Bbarbs' sister! :D

You have gone through a bad patch...or as you so aptly put it 'life streak'. So glad things are looking up and you are doing your wonderful art again. This is lovely, with all the flowers and that superb lighting. :o) CC
