Description

I tried painting something, liek a typical portrait, with a hint of sadness indicated by the title... Or soemthing like that :p This piece was so challenging for me really. The amount of details really started driving me crazy, and also it was very hard to draw a child (or an Asian for that matter). I can't count the times I repainted the kid. :| The piece was done entirely in Painter and Photoshop.

Hi Marta, haha, I just looked at this piece for about half an hour at GFX, just wasnt able to write a comment, still not really able to write something that would fit this fabulous work. So what shall I say other than that I am completely in awe with this really outstanding piece of art, man just look at all the details, this must have taken forever to finish. This piece truly is a lesson in art. Thanks for your patience doing this stand out piece! Your talent will take you really far.

really nicely done & i'm a huge fan of your work... my only little nit would be the dragon in the background - he looks a little too in focus to my eyes against the softness of the rest of the image [aw, and he is missing a couple toes/claws, the poor thing]... the overall colouring of this piece is really stupendous!

Perfection personified. This is simply an amazingly and wonderfuly detailed work of art. Everything is in perfect perspective; the child is so realistic I'm waiting for him to blink and I swear I saw the kittens fur move.

This piccture is priceless. The child is so regal looking. The kitten is one of the cutest I've seen in any picture in any of these galleries. The pillows and the textures on them are glorious. Your entire layout is magnificent. You should be so very proud of this work.
